Our beautiful baby boy is growing everyday!

We just love his newest acomplishment, a sweet smile. His little personality is really starting to shine through. He is such a delight!

Father and Son

Thursday, September 22nd, 2005

Father and SonFather and son hanging out. We’ve not taken as many pictures of Ron as we did of Jane, but we’re trying to catch up. :-)

He is getting more alert every day and is starting to recognize my voice, which is neat.

In other news, my photo blog now has a rating system where you can give the photos 1 – 5 stars (I think it is actually circles right now. I prefer stars, I just haven’t changed it over yet.)

Growing Boy

Monday, September 12th, 2005

Our handsome young man had his one month check-up today. Ron is now 21 3/4 inches long and weighs 10 lbs. and 2 oz. In just one month he has gained almost 2 lbs. and grown almost 4 inches! We are also having fun discovering his unique personality. He is cuter and more fun everyday!

Go Irish!

Saturday, September 10th, 2005

Today Jane and I are cheering on the Irish! Well, Jane is having more fun jumping around and clapping than actually watching football. Or as she says it with great inflection, “Foot! Ball!”

Fortunately, the season started before Jane outgrew her outfit. I have been waiting for her to grow into it since it was given to her at her birth from some fellow ND fans.

Thanks again to the Dieterlys!

Starting School

Friday, September 9th, 2005

Jane started preschool this week at a church in our neighborhood. Despite being bitten on her first day, she really enjoyed it. Her teacher, Miss Christy, said she really liked playing in the home living area and especially loves to vacuum. She is growing up so fast, but is more of a delight everyday!

Jane made the Burkhalter’s Blog

Jane and Bella
Jane made the Burkhalter’s blog. The Burkhalters are good friends of ours from Team Church (warning: the Team Church website is noisy and plays a video automatically). Isabella is about a year older than Jane, but they’re learning to have fun together. To the right is another picture from right before the one at the Burkhalter Ministry Blog.
