Last Saturday we had a party for Ron. The Burkhalters and the Sanders came over for pool time, hamburgers, hotdogs, and cake. We also discovered Ron likes cake.
Jane and Ron enjoyed the pool, but Jane didn’t want to go inside at lunch time.
When it was time for cake, Ron tried the finger extinguishing method of blowing out his candle.
While mom and dad kept Ron from requiring a visit to the first aid kit, Jane took care of blowing out the candle.
In appreciation, Ron at first tried Jane’s cake eating technique:
This method was too slow, and netted him mostly just icing. He soon found a style more to his liking: 
Ron really likes his cake, and enjoys eating it too!
