He’s Number 3

Sunday, January 28th, 2007

We went to see the doctor last Monday to check on Number 3. The nurse checked him out via sonogram, and everything looks good. Here are three of the shots (the fourth proves he’s a he, and it won’t do to have that on the internet).

Get the Grumps Out

Thursday, January 25th, 2007

Jane was helping Rebecca make some cookies the other day (Toll House, yum), and wanted to mix the dough some more, saying, she wanted to make sure she “got the grumps out”.  Can’t have grumps in our cookies, that would just ruin them.

Fun with Hats

First Day of School

Tuesday, January 9th, 2007

Ron had his first day of school today. In short, he loved it! He was very excited to get there, and basically ran into his room when it was time. He was quite happy to see all of the kids and looked very happy.

Not only did he enjoy himself, he even laid down and took a nap when it was time!

They had toys with buttons!

He had such a good time, he cried when it was time to leave.

Happy New Year!

Saturday, January 6th, 2007

Hope you are having a blessed new year!

We’ve been pretty busy lately, trying to get the house on the market, and deal with the holidays. To try to make up for it, here are a couple of my favorite recent pictures of the kids.

Jane With Crayons

This was at church. Jane was taking the crayons to put them up, and I made a quick grab shot from the hip and this came out. I like the colors and motion in this one, and that her face is the most clear thing in the picture.

Goldron

I love this shot of Ron. I accidentally shot this one with a bit of overexposure (1 1/3 stops), but the colors and everything work really well I think. I love the color palette anyway.
So there’s a couple of recent shots of the kids.  We’re doing ok, even tho we’re all now battling various forms of sickness leftover from the holidays. We had a great time seeing family and friends, and are now trying to get back into the swing of things here.  Ron starts school on Monday, so we’ll probably blog about that, and then we hope to find out #3′s gender in a couple of weeks, so I’m sure we’ll blog that too.
