Quite a character

Monday, June 25th, 2007

This morning Jane spent a good bit of time playing cowgirl.  This game consists primarily of skipping around the house on her horse, Moany, and yelling, “Yeehaw!”  I finally got my cowgirl and her two brothers loaded into the van to go the store.  On the way to the store Jane told me about her farm and her work as a farmer.  Then she told me ‘Doc’ (an imaginary friend) was sick and she was helping him get better.  Then she started telling me about her ‘kids’ and how she was a mommy.  I said something to her about how busy she was and she replied, “Yeah.  I can be a lot of characters!”

One liners

From hanging out with Jane yesterday:

“Daaaaad, everything can be interesting.” I’m curious about this one, she was looking in my sink right before she said this one.

“Daaaaad, have I ever steered you wrong, Daaaaaad?” Where this came from, I don’t know. But a little later, she asked, “Have you ever steered me wrong, Daaaaaaad?” Not yet, babe. :-)

FathersDay2007

At the same time as the Mother’s Day card, Jane made a Father’s Day card.  It speaks for itself.

MothersDay2007

Jane made a card for Mother’s Day this year (yes, Mother’s Day, we’ve been busy.)

The text is her answers to the questions. The picture has trees and flowers, and Rebecca. Oh, and the baby we now know as Peter is in her tummy.
